Purpose: Tying two strands together that are running in opposite directions.

Application:
Ideal for tying slings with accessory cord, or for joining two ropes together for double strand rappels.

Fig. 1 - Tying: Thread rope as shown.


Fig. 2 - Dress: Tighten the knots until they are snug against each other.



Fig. 3 - Rope Pulls: Be warned that the Double Fisherman, when used to join ropes for double strand rappels, has a tendency to catch on edges. We recommend the EDK when the risk of stuck ropes exists.
